well... basically the datacore grew over the time. I didn't even intend to model it that way.
when I started I wanted it to be as detailed as possible.
For that I began with modelling the different floors and went on to modelling the beams (even though most of them can't even be seen) for the whole structure.
in the end I just wrapped around the hull and added the wires, which I guess fit quite well.

I haven't used any tutorial for this one, but I got inspired a bit by a manga.

You must tell me my friend, how did you made datacore. Im planing to make some badass battlecruiser and I love this shapes. Did you followed some tutorial or something? I like specialy cover for units. Any tips?
